Ward 2 is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Ward caring for patients who have either fractured a bone or have musculoskeletal conditions. We are looking for a clinical support worker to join the team, which is committed to high standards of nursing care and providing a positive patient experience. You will be required to work in support of and under the direction of a Registered Nurse providing nursing care and assistance to patients within defined parameters specified by the registered nurse.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide direct patient care, including washing and dressing patients, supporting them to maintain and improve independence, and facilitating safe and timely discharge.
  • Deliver mouth care, assist with diet and fluids, help with toilet needs, and aid mobility.
  • Prevent pressure ulcers and ensure patient safety.
  • Work with the team to maintain a clean and safe environment.
