We are looking for an enthusiastic Advanced (Nurse) Practitioner to join our friendly team working between the Same Day Emergency Care Unit. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, prioritising care for patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job:
- Work autonomously to deliver high quality end-to-end patient interventions within the emergency care setting.
- Support and develop both personal and team capacities, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
Qualifications:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN)
- Master's degree
- Non-medical prescriber
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. City & Guilds or Professional Trainers Certificate)
- Registered Mentor
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Experience establishing effective communication
- Evidence of clinical competence and credibility in the speciality, and relevant post-registration qualification experience at senior level
- Exercise a high degree of autonomy within specialist area
You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and requires disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
