We are looking for an enthusiastic Advanced (Nurse) Practitioner to join our friendly team working between the Same Day Emergency Care Unit. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, prioritising care for patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job:
- Work autonomously to deliver high quality end-to-end patient interventions within the emergency care setting.
- Support and develop both personal and team capacities, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
Qualifications:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN)
- Master's degree
- Non-medical prescriber
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. City & Guilds or Professional Trainers Certificate)
- Registered Mentor
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Experience establishing effective communication
- Evidence of clinical competence and credibility in the speciality, and relevant post-registration qualification experience at senior level
- Exercise a high degree of autonomy within specialist area
