UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
We are looking to appoint a Support and Care Assistant to join our team on a fixed term basis for maternity cover. This role provides an opportunity for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking individual to join our dedicated SVS team.
You will support our students with additional support needs and/or learning disabilities and assist with personal care, improving their overall learning experience.
You should be able to demonstrate previous experience of working with vulnerable people and have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and can liaise with others in a professional manner.
Closing date: 23:30 on Thursday 24 July 2025.
Interviews provisionally to be held week commencing 4 August 2025.
This post undertakes regulated work with children and a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check is required. A check will be made against the list of those barred from working with children and protected adults.
