Work Based Assessor – Professional Cookery Part time, Fixed term, 1 Year 12 hours per week £33,910.44 - £37,239.14 per annum, pro rata (Pay award pending 01 September 2026) UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
We are looking for a Work Based Assessor in the area of Hospitality, in particular Professional Cookery.
The role will involve conducting work-based assessments and maintaining appropriate supporting documentation for candidates.
This includes undertaking vocational qualifications, developing industry and employer links and generating new business for the college.
The role requires a flexible, proactive and versatile approach, with the ability to support delivery across a range of programmes, most of which are work-based.

The successful candidate will ideally be qualified with industry recognised qualifications, such as L&D awards (assessor qualifications), and have relevant industry experience.
