UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and motivated Lecturers in Social Sciences to join our team. The successful candidates will teach across a range of programmes, from National 5 through to Degree level, delivering high-quality learning experiences that inspire and support student success.
The ideal candidates will have experience of working within Further Education and/or Higher Education and will be able to draw upon their subject expertise and professional experience to enrich learning and teaching. You will be committed to delivering an engaging, student-centred curriculum and supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
You will be educated to Honours Degree level in a relevant subject area, or hold an equivalent professional qualification.
Experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) and other digital learning technologies would be advantageous, although training and support will be provided. The ability to teach in another Humanities discipline would also be desirable, but is not essential.
