UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands. We are currently looking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified individual to the post of Bank Lecturer in Counselling.
Applicants will hold a diploma in Person Centred counselling (HE) and psychotherapy with significant Person-Centred experience or have an equivalent qualification. The successful candidate must be COSCA and/or BACP Accredited.
You will deliver teaching in all aspects of Counselling from COSCA to HNC/HND Counselling (levels 7 & 8). Experience of developing and delivering training or teaching would be beneficial but not essential.
You must have clear and confident communication skills, the ability to relate well to others and work as part of a team. It is also essential you have good planning and organisational skills, the ability to use own initiative, and are self-motivated.
