UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading colleges for Further and Higher Education and a key partner in the University of the Highlands and Islands, Scotland’s newest university. The Estates department is seeking an experienced Electrician to join the team in supporting UHI Perth as a fantastic place to study.
Based at the Crieff Road campus, the Estates team maintains first‑class facilities through ongoing maintenance and continual improvement, including daily operational tasks and refurbishment projects. The postholder will contribute to high‑quality learning and working environments by ensuring all electrical services are maintained to statutory and operational standards. They will also take responsibility for overseeing and managing external contractors.
Reporting directly to the Estates Manager, the role involves delivering maintenance and project work across all campus buildings, the Halls of Residence and other College facilities.
This post undertakes regulated work with children, and a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check is required. A check will be made against the list of those barred from working with children.
