We are seeking a candidate for a position as supply lecturer in the Land and Science team, to work alongside academic colleagues as part of the delivery of our Forestry courses. You will be based at the Scottish School of Forestry in Balloch, Inverness. This role presents a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic person who enjoys teaching and learning to join an experienced and diverse team. You will be required to deliver curriculum in an innovative manner with a focus on best practice in the teaching of topics relevant to your role. You will be required to be an effective team member able to deliver a high quality curriculum and educational experience.

You do not need to have a teaching qualification to apply as training will be provided, however some experience of instructing or teaching is welcome. We are looking for candidates who have experience of working in Forestry and/or related industries. This could include experience across a range of practical skills, vehicle operations and maintenance and harvesting through to planning forestry operations in urban and/or managed settings. You should possess effective interpersonal skills and have good IT skills.
Please note, the successful candidate will be subject to a PVG Disclosure Scotland and other background checks.
