UHI Moray, part of the University of the Highlands and Islands, is looking to recruit a suitably qualified individual into the permanent position of Head of Curriculum for the STEM areas (Engineering, Construction, Oil and Gas Centre, Science, Horticulture, Computing and Digital Media). The role involves leading and managing curriculum areas and playing a key role in the development of innovative curriculum programmes relating to strategic projects such as the Moray Growth Deal.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary STEM curriculum areas.
- Engage in strategic planning and evaluation of provision.
- Develop and deliver innovative curriculum programmes linked to strategic projects.
Qualifications:
- Educated to SCQF Level 9.
- Experience managing and leading staff across a multidisciplinary curriculum.
- Successful track record in curriculum development and quality management of subjects and courses.
- Teaching experience in a relevant STEM area (essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership skills, and commitment to the College’s strategic values.
