This is a new, full-time (10 PA) Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist position based at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC). We seek a paediatric or adult-trained Clinical Neurophysiologist with expertise in Children's Epilepsy Surgery Service (CESS), preferably with experience in Stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG), to join our team.
The role involves performing SEEG, outpatient clinics, diagnostic reporting, inpatient diagnostics, MDT participation, and on-call EEG reporting.
The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in paediatric epilepsy, experience in epilepsy surgery, review of Video EEG, and report production. SEEG experience is desirable but not mandatory; a commitment to learn SEEG is essential. Experience with Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) and Electromyography (EMG) in both paediatric and adult populations is required.
