About The Role
We are recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer (Junior/Intermediate) to join a growing engineering consultancy based in Hull. This is a permanent role working on a variety of commercial and built environment projects, designing electrical building services solutions from concept through to completion.
You will be part of a friendly, supportive team and work closely with senior engineers and clients, contributing to high quality design outputs.
What You'll Do
- Produce electrical design documentation for building services projects
- Use industry standard software such as AutoCAD, with Revit/BIM desirable
- Apply UK standards (BS 7671, BS 5266, BS 5839) in electrical design work
- Support project delivery through technical input, calculations and reviews
- Work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams and clients
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years experience in electrical building services design
- Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Proven experience using AutoCAD (Revit/BIM beneficial)
- Knowledge of UK electrical standards and regulations
- Working towards IEng or open to starting this pathway
