CompanyUGames Software is a video game studio located in Manchester. We create video games and develop tools for automation. We will support you in every way to can be the best at what you do. Location: 269 Great Ancoats St, Manchester M4 7DB

Contract: Fixed term, full time

The Role:

  • Model and texture game-ready 3D assets. Optimise for real-time rendering performance while maintaining visual quality.
  • Design and assemble immersive 3D environments for game scenes using provided 3D assets, ensuring visual quality and creativity.
  • Develop lighting setups to enhance the atmosphere, including natural lighting, shadows, and other visual effects.
  • Work closely with other team members to bring the game vision to life.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in graphic design or a similar discipline.
  • Understanding of lighting principles to create realistic and atmospheric environments.
  • Experience with 3D modelling software.
  • Ability to modify and optimise 3D models, including UV mapping and adjusting geometry.
  • The candidate must be willing to learn and use Unity as part of their workflow.
  • Ability to commute: Manchester (required).
