The Role:
- Model and texture game-ready 3D assets. Optimise for real-time rendering performance while maintaining visual quality.
- Design and assemble immersive 3D environments for game scenes using provided 3D assets, ensuring visual quality and creativity.
- Develop lighting setups to enhance the atmosphere, including natural lighting, shadows, and other visual effects.
- Work closely with other team members to bring the game vision to life.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in graphic design or a similar discipline.
- Understanding of lighting principles to create realistic and atmospheric environments.
- Experience with 3D modelling software. Ability to modify and optimise 3D models, including UV mapping and adjusting geometry.
- The candidate must be willing to learn and use Unity as part of their workflow.
- Ability to commute: Manchester (required).
