We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our team at Uform. The successful candidates will be responsible for the picking of customer orders to specified finishes ensuring all items meet Uform's quality. You will report to the Business Unit Manager. This evening shift position will cover the hours of Monday to Friday 3pm to midnight. These roles come with a 15% Shift Allowance.
To successfully fill this position, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills/attributes:
- 1-3 years previous experience in a busy, fast paced warehouse environment.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work flexible and/or demanding hours as determined by the needs of the business.
- Either hold or be willing to undertake stand-on picker truck test.
- Previous order picking experience (handheld scanner, pick by voice headset).
- A basic working knowledge of Quality Control and Health & Safety within a shop floor environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
