Responsible for performing activities involved in the receiving of goods into the warehouse, loading/unloading of trailers, receipting of stock, product inspection checks of all incoming stock, including specials as per company policy.
- Ensure efficient, accurate receipting of materials, whether Specials or standard products, to make them available for put away or picking
- Ability to carry out all activities safely, quickly, and efficiently.
- Familiarise yourself and comply with all relevant operational procedures and quality standards.
- Make improvement suggestions and actively participate in the continuous improvement activities within your department.
- Work both independently and as part of the team to ensure the Goods In daily targets are met.
- Ensure housekeeping in your area is maintained to the 6S audit requirements
- Comply fully with all Company Health and Safety policies.
- Ensure all lifting equipment within your area is used properly & maintained
- Provide cover for colleagues during holidays and periods of absence
- Perform required accuracy checks when booking on stock in relation to quantity, range, size, and quality standards.
- Working knowledge of handheld scanners eg, booking on stock
- A valid counterbalance licence is desirable but not essential, as refresher training will be provided.
- Experienced in the safe loading/unloading of deliveries
- Lead by example on behaviour, attendance, safety, fairness, and the Uform values of Openness & Honesty, Respect, Teamwork and taking responsibility
- Any other duties deemed reasonable.

- 1-3 years’ previous experience in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work flexible and/or demanding hours as determined by the needs of the business.
- Target driven with a strong desire to succeed.
- An individual who will represent the best interests of the company at all times, professionally and positively.
- Ability to prioritise work and use own initiative.
