UFORCE exists to make aggression unaffordable.

Founded in Ukraine and headquartered in London, UFORCE is a defence-technology company with operations across Europe, the United States and Asia.

UFORCE builds uncrewed vessels, ground robotics and aircraft, autonomy software, and the command-and-control layer that operates them together. Each platform is deployable on its own, and stronger as part of the system. Its product lines include the MAGURA family of uncrewed surface vessels, the NEMESIS family of strike platforms, the LIUT family of ground robotic platforms, and counter-UAS systems.

About the role

UFORCE is building its UK maritime engineering and production capability, and we’re looking for an Engineering and Production Lead to turn innovative designs into safe, reliable products delivered at pace.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineering leader who can move confidently between design reviews, the workshop, suppliers and product testing. You’ll lead active builds, solve multidisciplinary engineering problems and establish the practical controls needed to deliver repeatable quality as our maritime programmes grow.

You’ll have direct ownership of mission-relevant products and the opportunity to shape UFORCE’s UK production capability from an early stage.

What you’ll do

  • Lead maritime products from design and prototype through integration, production, testing and acceptance.

  • Establish clear build plans covering drawings, BOMs, materials, suppliers, quality gates, risks and delivery milestones.

  • Run effective build and production reviews, ensuring decisions have clear owners and actions are closed.

  • Resolve complex mechanical, electrical, electronic and systems-integration issues with engineers, technicians and specialist partners.

  • Turn designs into repeatable production using controlled drawings, work instructions, build records and test evidence.

  • Improve manufacturability, assembly, serviceability, reliability and cost through disciplined engineering changes and lessons learned.

  • Deliver safe, tested products against controlled requirements and configurations, with defects and risks actively managed.

  • Lead engineers, technicians and suppliers to address technical, material, quality and delivery challenges at pace.

Required Skills

  • Experience taking complex physical products from design or prototype into repeatable production.

  • Broad engineering understanding across mechanical, electrical/electronic and integrated systems.

  • Strong production-engineering knowledge, including drawings, BOMs, work instructions, configuration control, testing and design for manufacture.

  • Experience leading engineers, technicians, production teams or multidisciplinary build activity.

  • Proven ability to identify critical-path risks and recover builds under pressure without compromising safety or quality.

  • Practical fault-finding and root-cause analysis experience in workshop, manufacturing, integration or test environments.

  • Clear communication, strong ownership and sound judgement in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.

  • Ability to work regularly at UK sites and travel to suppliers, build partners and delivery locations when required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in marine, defence, automotive, motorsport, robotics or another high-reliability hardware sector.

  • Experience developing electronic or integrated electro-mechanical products.

  • Experience with maritime platforms, autonomous systems or uncrewed surface vessels.

  • Background in a start-up or scale-up combined with experience of a disciplined OEM or high-performance engineering environment.

  • Supplier-development, quality, test, certification or regulated-product experience.

  • Experience leading distributed teams or delivery across UK and international locations.

The nature of combat has changed.

Tomorrow’s battlefield success depends on autonomy, speed, and adaptability.

And UFORCE is ready.

Are You?
