Do you have 3+ years’ industry experience? Volunteer as a mentor with UEL and help students build skills, grow confidence, and take the next step in their careers.

What will you be doing?

Programmes

• Power Hour – a one-off, one-hour session to provide tailored guidance to soon-to-be graduates.
• Career Mentoring – a 4-month long mentoring relationship designed to support students with developing their career readiness. This programme runs twice in the academic year.

Mentor Responsibilities

• Developing interpersonal and employability skills
• Understanding the link between academic studies and career aspirations
• Exploring career pathways and career planning
• Improving confidence and self-esteem
• Developing professional networks
