About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer to join our growing academic institution in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This is an exciting opportunity for a UK-based education compliance professional to bring their expertise to an international setting. The successful candidate will ensure that our operations align with local and international regulatory frameworks, maintain accreditation standards, and support the development of robust quality assurance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee institutional compliance with national and international education regulations
  • Lead audits, inspections, and accreditation processes (MFHEA, Ofqual, KHDA, etc.)
  • Develop and implement internal policies aligned with UK and UAE higher education standards
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and accreditation agencies
  • Monitor and assess risk, providing strategic compliance advice to senior leadership
  • Support programme approvals, institutional licensing, and regulatory reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Education Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs within the UK higher education sector
  • In-depth knowledge of UK regulatory bodies (e.g. QAA, OfS)
  • International compliance or accreditation experience (UAE or similar markets) is a strong advantage
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to relocate to the UAE
