Salary on appointment will be £69,488 per annum with an annual increment up to £73,709 per annum.

About the Role:

The Professor of Research Translation and Integration will provide academic and strategic leadership to enable, connect and accelerate research activity across the Norwich Research Park, with particular focus on the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The role exists to develop a culture of innovation, enhance research visibility, improve productivity and delivery of research, and significantly strengthen readiness and competitiveness for large-scale funding applications.

You will maintain a strategic overview of research activity, funding, infrastructure and capability across the Park, identify opportunities and gaps, reduce organisational and governance friction, and actively connect scientists, clinicians and industry partners to enable translational progression from discovery to tangible benefit. You will engage fully with the strategic development of Norwich Medical School, Faculty and Norwich Research Park research ecosystem, and will provide academic leadership consistent with the expectations of a Professor at UEA.

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
