About the Role:
- We are looking for a Technical Engineer to provide expert technical knowledge in building fabric / carpentry to support our Maintenance team.
- This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse environment, with everything from a world class art gallery to one of the largest Sports complexes in the country, enabling you to develop your skills and broaden your experience.
- In this role, you’ll deliver operational support, conduct maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with statutory legislation.
- You’ll have an ONC in Engineering (or equivalent qualification or experience) along with experience of managing third party suppliers and you will hold your IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) qualification.
- You’ll be able to participate in a roster covering 6 Saturdays per year. In addition, overtime and call outs may be required.
- This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis and is based at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, UK.
