Salary on appointment will be £26,707 per annum, with an annual increment up to £30,378 per annum.

About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administrative Assistant to join the Student Visa Compliance team as part of the Admissions Service. Student Visa Compliance is responsible for two key areas of regulatory compliance: sponsoring international students and administering US Federal Student Aid. The team supports recruitment, admission, monitoring and reporting of students requiring UK immigration permission and study visas.

You will provide information and support for University staff and students on all aspects of UK Study visas, the Points Based System and visa compliance matters. You will also provide guidance to eligible students on applying and maintaining eligibility for US Federal Student Aid and support the University in preparation for annual audits. Attention to detail, understanding of protocols and strong IT skills are essential. Full training will be available.

This full-time post is available immediately, on a fixed-term basis until 19 April 2027, covering the secondment of the substantive postholder.
