An exciting opportunity has arisen for a School Administrator to join Faculty Professional Services to provide proactive administrative support to academic colleagues, professional services staff and University services, supporting the delivery of School activities and an excellent student experience.
Key duties of the role include:
- Supporting admissions, recruitment and student engagement activities;
- Maintaining and developing School social media, website content and marketing materials;
- Coordinating applicant, student, alumni and external engagement events;
- Providing administrative support for committees, meetings and academic leadership activities;
- Supporting financial and staffing administration;
- Responding to enquiries from a wide range of stakeholders;
- Contributing to the delivery of apprenticeship provision and other School activities where required.
You will have experience of working with administrative systems and office procedures, prioritising competing workloads, supporting meetings and follow-up actions, maintaining web and social media content, and delivering excellent customer service. You will possess strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a busy and varied environment.
This full-time post is available from 1 August 2026 on an indefinite basis, and will be aligned to the School of Chemistry, Pharmacy and Pharmacology.
