We are recruiting a School Administrator role in our Faculty Professional Services (FPS) team in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Our School Administrators provide vital operational administrative support in our School FPS team for Norwich Medical School.

Duties will include providing high level administrator support for academic colleagues, other professional services staff and University services to promote the activities of the School. This is a busy customer focused role interacting across the School and wider University engaging with daily queries both in person and electronically.

You will support meetings, assist our admissions work in the recruitment of students and support the delivery of a high-quality student experience. You will engage with external colleagues and partners whose interaction is key to the success of the School.

In addition, you’ll assist with coordinating School events and provide operational administration support for the full range of activities undertaken by the FPS team embedded in the School. The role involves working with academic staff who hold leadership roles within the School and some working with professional services teams across the University.

You will be well organised and have good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels. You will be an effective team player and enjoy working as part of a team, but able to effectively work independently. Recent experience of working in a busy office environment, self-motivation and the ability to use your own initiative to problem solve are key along with enjoying a range of activities within your role.

This is a part-time post working 29 hours per week, ideally worked over 4 full days (0.8 FTE). This is an indefinite post available immediately.
