Role Overview

We are looking for a Lecturer to deliver lectures and seminars and carry out teaching-related duties. The role is key to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programme delivery and assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, teach and assess undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, taking responsibility for the delivery and assessment of specific modules.
  • Organise modules and develop teaching and learning materials.
  • Take responsibility for some of the degree programmes within the school, supervise dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Promote enterprise and engagement at UEA.

Qualifications

  • A first degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area.
  • Experience of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and student assessment at all levels including coursework, examinations and dissertations.
  • Supervision experience at postgraduate level and experience in relevant enterprise and engagement activities would be advantageous.

Employment Details

This full‑time post is available from 23 March 2026 on an indefinite basis. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
