We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join the back-of-house team within UEA’s Catering Services. As a Catering & Hospitality Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our kitchens and stores operations to deliver high-quality food services across campus.

  • Receiving and organising deliveries
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Supporting food preparation as required
  • Contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of our catering service

We are looking for a team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to support colleagues across different areas of the service.

  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a willingness to assist wherever needed
  • Previous experience in a catering or hospitality environment is desirable, though not essential
  • Availability to work any five days out of seven
  • A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not required

This full-time role is available immediately on an indefinite basis. This post is based in the UEA Campus Kitchen, University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, UK. The vacancy is not eligible for VISA sponsorship, and you will need to hold or be able to obtain the right to work in the UK to undertake this role.
