General hours of work are 40 hours per week with overtime opportunity. Hours and shift patterns tend to fall on days, Monday to Friday. However, you may occasionally be also required to work evenings, nights and weekends.
About Us
Chevron Traffic Management is a leading provider of Traffic Management solutions across the UK. As we expand our Urban Solutions Division, we are launching a new depot in Salford, to support our growing operations in the region.
We are looking for Traffic Management Trainees to build our workforce and deliver our works.
Responsibilities Of a Traffic Management Trainee
The Traffic Management Trainee sits at the heart of everything we do.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses.
- Maintenance of temporary traffic lights
- Delivery and Collection of Urban rental products
- Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying:
- cones,
- signs,
- frames,
- sandbags
- and other equipment
What Good Looks Like for a Traffic Management Operative Trainee:
- Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test your offer will depend on the outcome of this
