Your role – HGV Class 2 Driver / Trainee IPV Operative (12AB)As a key member of our team, you will begin as an HGV Class 2 Driver while training to become a fully qualified IPV Operative. Your responsibilities include:
- Drive an IPV as part of traffic management operations.
- Work towards achieving your 12AB skilled worker qualification.
- Support live works through traffic counts, client and subcontractor communications, and accurate reporting of timings and near misses.
- Licence: HGV Class 2 / Category C.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
- Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points; any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago.
- Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Attitude: Positive, can‑do mindset.
- Skills: Adaptability, flexibility and strong attention to detail.
- Full or Trainee LANTRA 12AB qualification.
- IPV qualification.
