Your role as an IPV Operative:
- Drive and operate the IPV safely and professionally on high-speed works.
- Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses.
- Use your existing high-speed/IPV qualifications or work towards them through our training pathway.
- Support safe working practices and help guide newer team members as you grow in the role.
Trainee route available:
If you’re not yet IPV qualified but have the right attitude, commitment and driving experience, we can support you through the training needed to build a long-term career in high-speed traffic management.
What are we looking for?
- Licence: Class 2/Category C licence.
- Qualified applicants: Existing IPV qualification/high-speed traffic management experience would be highly desirable.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
- Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago.
- Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results).
- Attitude: Positive, “can-do” mindset.
- Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexible: Must be able to work permanent nights and shift patterns, including weekends.
- Right to work: in the UK unsponsored.
