Salary - Competitive Depending On Experience

Shifts are Mon – Fri 07.00 – 17.00, with a late shift 07.00 – 19.30 (approximately 1 in 4).

About The Role

Chemron Traffic Management is the company that sets up temporary road or lane closures, diversions, routes or pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe while roadworks are underway. This involves putting out road cones, signage, temporary traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and barriers. It is involved in consulting, planning, designing, estimating and liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure schemes are fit for purpose. It also involves innovation and technology to improve safety and reduce carbon footprint. Traffic Management is a challenging industry, but the work keeps people safe and is rewarding. Role Purpose

An opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our growing business as Project Co-Ordinator, based at the Scunthorpe office. The candidate will be the point of contact for new and existing clients, liaising with local authorities, quoting/planning works and following each job through to invoicing. Traffic Management experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of a portfolio of projects and clients
  • First point of contact for incoming enquiries from clients
  • Ensuring adequate PO and cost coverage for works to go ahead
  • Booking projects into the ERP management system
  • Liaison with clients to ensure all works proceed successfully
  • Submitting permits and licences to local authorities
  • On the day liaison with operatives, operations team and third parties to resolve issues
  • Resolving any relevant accounts queries and providing information
  • Any other duties required by the Project Team Leader
