General hours of work are 40 hours per week with overtime opportunity. Hours and shift patterns tend to fall on days; however, you may also be required to work evenings, nights and weekends. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota especially if you have the use of a company van.

Chemron part of Ramudden Global UK sets up temporary road or lane closures, diversions routes or pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe while roadworks are underway. This involves putting out road cones, signage, temporary traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and barriers. Our work is visible all over the country. The role also involves consulting, planning, designing, estimating and liaising with our suppliers and our customers to ensure that our schemes are fit for purpose. It also involves innovation and technology so we can improve safety and help our industry reduce our carbon footprint.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses.
- Maintenance of temporary traffic lights.
- Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment.
- Helping and guiding new trainees, once qualified.
What Good Looks Like:
- Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired for at least 5 years.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test; offer will depend on the outcome.
- Positive “can-do” attitude.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
