Permanent full time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) in Payroll at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. Site: Princes House, Reading. Salary: £38,682 - £46,580 per annum.

Main duties / Responsibilities
- Manage the payroll team to ensure staff are paid in line with Trust and statutory conditions.
- Lead NHS Payroll and ESR processes; ensure monthly payroll checks are accurate and completed on time.
- Submit monthly HMRC RTI returns online by the required timetable, ensuring payroll data and RTI reports are reconciled.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures within and outside the Payroll Services team to ensure statutory and local regulations are adhered to and service provision remains at a high professional standard.

Experience (Essential):
- More than 5 years NHS payroll experience
- Good knowledge of ESR
- Good knowledge of AFC, GMC and HMRC statutory regulations
