University Centre Somerset (UCS) College Group Bridgwater College are looking for an outstanding individual with experience to join our delivery team. You will need to be a motivated and enthusiastic professional, proactive, student‑centred individual who can provide expertise to further enhance our teaching, learning, assessment, and curriculum development.

The Health and Safety Team Leader is responsible for delivering high‑quality teaching, training, and assessment across a range of health and safety qualifications, including NEBOSH, IOSH, First Aid at Work, and Paediatric First Aid. The role ensures learners develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to work safely and effectively in industry.

In addition to teaching, the postholder will lead and coordinate the delivery of health and safety provision across UCS College Group, ensuring programmes meet awarding body standards, regulatory requirements, and employer needs. They will support curriculum development, maintain quality assurance processes, and promote a culture of safety excellence across the organisation.

The role also involves mentoring staff, managing resources, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the provision is responsive, compliant, and aligned with the college’s strategic priorities. The successful candidate will be based at our Bridgwater College.
