The role is an essential part of the UCS College Group Senior Management Team. The Vice Principal – Curriculum and Quality will work alongside the Group Executive Principal and Principals across the College Group to provide leadership in key areas of curriculum, standards, and quality, supporting the delivery of consistently high‑quality provision and student outcomes. Teaching, Learning and Assessment is the most important thing we do and our on-going success is built on continuous improvement.

The Vice Principal – Curriculum and Quality will lead and oversee curriculum design, teaching, learning, and assessment approaches across the College Group, ensuring quality assurance and enhancement processes are applied consistently and effectively. The role will support compliance with internal governance arrangements and external regulatory requirements, while embedding a culture of high expectations, professional accountability, and improvement.

As a senior leader, the postholder will work collaboratively across colleges, supporting principals, senior leaders, and curriculum teams to strengthen progression pathways, improve the student experience, and ensure the College Group continues to respond effectively to regional skills and community needs.

The role requires strong leadership, credibility across curriculum and quality functions, and a clear commitment to staff development and sustained high standards.
