Overview: The Additional Learning Support area provides additional learning support across the College to full- and part-time learners and supports approximately 1000 students on courses of all levels. The position is part-time.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide learning support across the College to full- and part-time learners, supporting approximately 1000 students on courses of all levels.
  • Offer Specialist Teaching, Specialist Assignment Support, In-class Support, Small Group Workshops, Equipment Support, Specialist Counselling, Mentoring, Exam Access Arrangements, and Assistive Technology Support.
  • Support students with a range of additional needs with a focus on SEMH and complex behaviours, demonstrating willingness and understanding of the skills and knowledge required to assist young people.
