We’re currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants and Midday Meal Supervisors to join a welcoming primary SEN school in the borough of Lambeth, supporting pupils with a range of complex needs including Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Responsibilities

  • SEN Teaching Assistants (Daily supply & Long-term: 8.20am – 4pm)
  • Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups
  • Assist with learning, behaviour, and emotional needs
  • Help deliver sensory, therapeutic, and communication-based activities
  • Support pupils with personal care
  • Midday Meal Supervisors (10am–2pm or 11:30am–2pm)
    • Support children during lunch and playtime
    • Encourage positive interaction and communication
    • Provide assistance with feeding and mobility where needed
    • Ensure safety and engagement in the dining hall and playground

    We’re looking for

    • Experience working with children with ASD, SLD, or PMLD (school, care, or community settings)
    • A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
    • Willingness to support with personal care and mobility
    • A strong team player with a genuine passion for SEN
    • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
