We are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in your local area, with opportunities available to start ASAP or from January 2027.
We are recruiting for Mainstream and SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a range of school settings, including primary schools, specialist SEN schools, PRUs, and alternative provisions.
You will be:
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Providing 1:1 or small-group support to pupils where required
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD, PMLD and SEMH
- Helping pupils develop their communication, independence, confidence, and emotional regulation
- Working closely with teachers, SEN professionals, therapists, and other members of the school team
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
Candidates must be patient, proactive, adaptable, and passionate about supporting children's learning and development. Previous SEN, school, nursery, PRU or alternative provision experience is highly desirable, but we also welcome candidates with relevant transferable skills.
Team-Teach, manual handling, or other relevant SEN training is desirable for some positions but is not essential, as training may be provided.
