The predicted salary is between 31650 - 40050 Β£ per year.
We are looking for an experienced Year 5/6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Redbridge from September 2026. This is a full-time role teaching within Upper Key Stage 2, taking full responsibility for a Year 5 or Year 6 class and supporting pupils in achieving their academic potential.
You will be:
- Teaching a Year 5 or Year 6 class
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assessing pupil progress and implementing targeted interventions
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and personal development
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching within Upper Key Stage 2. Strong knowledge of the Year 5/6 curriculum, including SATs preparation, excellent classroom management skills and a proven track record of raising attainment are essential. This position is suitable for experienced teachers only; ECT applications will not be considered.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or a willingness to obtain one.
