We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join a hospital school setting in Southwark.
This is a long-term supply role, with the potential to become permanent, working 4 or 5 days per week.
You will be:
- Teaching secondary-aged pupils within a hospital school setting
- Delivering lessons at the bedside and in classroom settings, depending on pupils’ medical needs
- Teaching English with Arts / Humanities, or Maths with Business or Computer Science
- Delivering your specialist subject in English or Maths
- Providing 1:1 and small-group teaching
- Supporting medically unwell and vulnerable pupils
- Adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs
- Confidently supporting some primary-aged pupils where required
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be an experienced teacher. Previous experience in a hospital school or alternative provision is desirable but not essential.
