We are looking for a dedicated Secondary SEN Vocational Teacher to join a specialist secondary school setting in Lambeth.

This is a full-time role within a supportive special school environment for pupils aged 11 to 19 with learning difficulties and associated social and communication needs. Many pupils have Autism, and the school provides a structured and inclusive setting focused on preparing young people for adulthood.

You will be:

  • Delivering vocational learning to secondary-aged pupils with special educational needs
  • Teaching practical subjects such as horticulture, painting and decorating, hair and beauty, or similar vocational areas
  • Adapting lessons to meet pupils’ individual learning and communication needs
  • Creating a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
  • Supporting pupils’ independence, confidence, and life skills development

The successful candidate will have experience working with young people with special educational needs and confidence delivering vocational or practical subjects. Qualified teachers and experienced instructors are both encouraged to apply.
