Position details:

  • Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to start ASAP or September
  • Long-term role with scope to become permanent, based on your performance
  • Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will have:

  • At least 3 months' experience supporting children or young people with SEN, particularly Autism and learning difficulties
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
  • A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • A genuine passion for helping pupils achieve their full potential

You will need:

  • A fully enhanced DBS
  • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs
