We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join a mainstream primary school setting located within the borough of Barking and Dagenham. This is a full-time position within a supportive school environment and ideal for teachers who can create engaging lessons, support progress across the curriculum, and prepare pupils for the end of Key Stage 1.
You will be:
- Teaching a Year 2 class within a mainstream primary setting
- Planning and delivering engaging, interactive lessons with strong phonics and early literacy knowledge
- Supporting pupils’ early learning, independence, and confidence
- Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), have experience working with pupils with special educational needs, and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
