UCL's Vice-Provost (Health) is advancing a new UCL Health Strategy that both sustains our centres of excellence and invests in strategic opportunity areas to create impact at scale with our partners. Supported by the £11.9m UCLH Strategic Research Fund (SRF) and aligned with the NIHR UCLH Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) goals to drive innovation and clinical impact, this investment is strengthening research capacity and developing new facilities across UCLH and UCL.
We are now recruiting three Strategic Leaders to drive ambitious, cross-disciplinary programmes in:
- Computational Healthcare and Interdisciplinary Research in Brain Cancer - Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS)
- Champion interdisciplinary research, innovation, and translation to accelerate patient impact across our clinical and scientific communities. (2 posts)
- Associate Professor / Professor in Computational Healthcare: Advance the interface of artificial intelligence, biophysical modelling, clinical prediction and digital health.
- Associate Professor / Professor in Brain and Neuro-Oncology: Advance internationally outstanding research into the biology, progression, and treatment of tumours of the central nervous system.
- Computational Genomics in Health and Disease - Faculty of Life Sciences (FLS)
- Advance scientific discovery at the interface of life sciences, genomics and computational biology to advance our understanding of human genetic variation shaping health and disease. (1 post)
- Associate Professor / Professor in Computational Genomics in Health and Disease: Advance experimental and computational approaches in the study of fundamental biological questions.
