UCL's Department of Computer Science (CS) is a top-ranked Computer Science Department in the UK. You will join a busy team working closely with other Professional and Academic colleagues to make significant impact to the growth and success of the Department.

The role is responsible for delivering the Department's research financial management and administration. You will facilitate grant and funding administration, and general management and monitoring of current and proposed research projects.

The role requires a high level of accuracy, financial skill and considerable initiative. The role is largely autonomous within the Department Finance team, but you will also work as part of a wider team of Professional Services colleagues, liaising with senior staff (both within and external to UCL) frequently, and collaborating with academic and research staff.

You will have excellent knowledge of research funding processes and regulations within an HE/research environment, and experience of providing administrative assistance in the preparation of research funding applications.

You must have proven experience of using online financial systems and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly, as well as demonstrating you can meet tight individual and organisational deadlines and manage your own workload through effective prioritising, time management and organisational skills.
