The UCL Cancer Institute is home to over 400 scientists driving world‑leading cancer research. We are looking for a proactive Finance Administrator (Procurement) to join our Professional Services team and support the smooth running of financial operations across the Institute.

In this varied and impactful role, you will:

  • Support non‑core account activity and budget holders
  • Raise purchase orders and sales invoices
  • Manage expense claims, IDJs/IDTs and credit control tasks
  • Monitor finance inboxes and respond to staff queries
  • Produce income/expenditure summaries and support year‑end processes
  • Ensure all activity complies with UCL financial policies

You will work closely with the Management Accountant and wider Finance team to deliver accurate, responsive financial support to staff across the Institute.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong IT and Excel skills
  • Experience in finance or budgetary administration
  • Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., Oracle)
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A collaborative yet independent working style
