About us

The Faculty of Life Sciences (FLS) Education Administration and Student Experience (EASE) team is made up of four areas: Clinical, Programmes, Research, and Student Wellbeing & Casework. The team is led by three Education Managers and supported by Education Coordinators across the teams.

About the role

We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Education Administrator to join the Faculty of Life Sciences’ Education Administration and Student Experience (EASE) team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to develop their skills and build a rewarding career supporting postgraduate research students and employer engagement within our Doctoral Training Programmes (DTPs). You will play a key role in delivering an excellent student experience and supporting compliance with key processes, including UKVI requirements and funding body reporting.

We’re looking for organised and student-focused individuals, key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate employer liaison and placement activities for London InterDisciplinary Doctoral Programme (LIDo) students, including sourcing opportunities and managing relationships with industry partners.
  • Organise employability events, workshops, and alumni engagement activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for student lifecycle processes (registration, upgrades, thesis submission).
  • Support compliance activities, including Je-S record updates and UKVI audit requirements.
  • Manage communications via Moodle, social media, and newsletters to promote opportunities and events.
  • Provide professional and timely responses to student and employer queries.
  • Contribute to wider EASE team activities and support other programmes as needed.

This is a dynamic and varied position where no two days are the same. You’ll have the opportunity to work independently, plan your own workload, and make decisions, while being fully supported by your Education Coordinator and the wider team. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as the role involves a broad range of activities and can respond to rapidly changing priorities.

You’ll be part of a highly supportive environment, with access to training and development opportunities to help you grow your skills across your chosen areas.

Working Arrangements

This is a hybrid role. Flexibility is essential, as there will be peak periods, particularly around student-facing activities, when increased on-campus presence will be required. We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible. This role is available until 30 September 2032 in the first instance.

About you

You’re a proactive, solutions-focused individual with strong organisational skills and an excellent eye for detail. You’re confident working both independently and collaboratively, and you bring a positive, patient, and professional approach to everything you do. Strong communication skills are essential.
