The UCL Cancer Institute hosts over £100 million in grant income, 50 scientific group leaders, 32 clinical scientists, and 50 honorary clinical consultants. It is an internationally recognised centre for cancer research and part of the Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre network. About the role We are seeking a Clinical Training Fellow to join the UCL Cancer Institute for a 3-year appointment. This opportunity is ideal for trainees who have completed a PhD and are nearing completion of specialist training (ST7/8), with a research interest relevant to cancer and where the research interests align with the UCLH BRC Cancer theme priorities. UCL Cancer Institute will, if appropriate, support the successful candidate in progressing to a Consultant Clinical Academic post. Responsibilities also include teaching, supervision, and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students. About you The successful candidate should have completed a PhD, demonstrate excellent research outputs, and show evidence of influence and networking in their field. The aim is to recruit a future group leader capable of securing fellowship funding and establishing a world-leading research group.
