Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (Hatter Cardiovascular Institute), London
Overview
We invite applications for a full-time Post-Doctoral Research Fellow position funded for up to 5 years by the British Heart Foundation. The research focuses on investigating PI3 kinase isoforms in acute cardioprotection, aiming to translate basic science findings into therapies to reduce myocardial infarction. The fellow will receive training as needed under the guidance of the research team.
Responsibilities
- Manage research programs aligned with BHF grant objectives.
- Conduct independent research, including in vivo and ex vivo experiments under a Home Office licence, and contribute to experimental design, including transgenic breeding programs.
- Train others in research techniques.
- Record, analyze, and report experimental results in written and oral formats.
- Keep Principal Investigators updated on progress and timelines.
