The post holder is part of the Faculty Education Administration and Student Experience team who work together in a close network of teams that support all our students. They will also work as part of one or several programme teams incorporating close working with professional services and academic staff.
About the Role
This role is available for UCL Internal candidates only. You will administer taught programmes in the postgraduate team and assist in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students and staff, as well as providing support for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students. This includes from enquiry to completion, supporting departmental tasks and processes relating to assessment, student and programme records. You will ensure effective procedures are adopted and documented for dealing with all aspects of the administration and achieve a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students and staff.
About You
You will have a good standard of education to A-level, or equivalent professional experience and bring substantial administrative experience in a busy office environment with good communication and interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to adapt and learn new systems, liaise with a variety of people and relate to staff and students in a teaching and learning context. You will be proactive with the ability to work independently and as a team. You will also be able to manage a busy workload and meet time-critical schedules whilst maintaining a commitment to high quality service. The role involves interaction with many people within and external to UCL and requires a proactive, highly organised, and efficient individual with a professional attitude, willingness to help, and the ability to work collaboratively and problem solve effectively.
