About the role

The HR Administrator is a member of the Division’s professional services team with a key role in facilitating the smooth running of the Division. The post holder will support the Division’s HR functions including staff recruitment, appraisals, end of fixed term contract processes, casual/one-off worker payments and contract changes. The role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL, and thus a professional and collegial attitude are required. This is an interesting and challenging post with wide-ranging responsibilities and good professional development opportunities. The post is available from February. Interviews are scheduled for the morning of 05 February.

About you

The postholder will have excellent organisational ability, attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines. The postholder will also have strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to deal with sensitive information in a professional manner and ability to develop effective, professional working relationships and provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will have experience working in a professional office environment in an administrative or customer facing role and have excellent computer literacy and ability to use databases and systems like HR information systems. Experience of working within the Higher Education sector and holding a CIPD qualification or having similar experience working in an HR role are desirable for this role. We are operating a hybrid working model and you will have the opportunity to work remotely for up to 60% (3 days) a week if you wish.
