The Centre for Behaviour Change Administrative Manager is the operational lead responsible for developing and directing all administration and support infrastructure to ensure the efficient running of the CBC and to implement the delivery of the CBC’s strategic objectives through maintaining effective local administration systems. This senior administrative post will work closely with Centre Co-Directors, Research Lead, Teaching Lead, MSc Director, Lecturer/Consultancy Lead, Training, Events and Communications Manager, Teaching Administrator, and the Directors’ PA/Research Administrator to provide complex administrative support and lead in the functional areas of financial management, research finance and grants administration, human resources (recruitment, leavers, absence management, staff reviews and record planning), contract management and business planning and implementation. Liaison with Departmental and Faculty administrative colleagues to align with UCL’s policies and procedures is a key part of the role. The postholder joins the Centre’s management team of 8 core-funded staff, including the current role holder, led by the Centre Directors, Professor Susan Michie and Professor Fabiana Lorencatto.
This appointment is subject to UCL Terms and Conditions of Service for Research and Professional Services Staff.
The postholder will hold a relevant degree and relevant management experience or equivalent competency gained through any other combination of education, training and experience.
